End of the Line.

The countryside is changing. But it is a slow process, revealing a beautiful, anachronistic scenery where the abandoned and dilapidated mix with odd and unexpected things. There is a particular faded color palette that seem to gracefully blend with nature over time. Farmhouses, like this one, may be in dear need of maintenance, but are not abandoned. There is still an old man living here (according to the neighbour), without animals or farmland, just leading a still life, one day at a time.

Most photos shot on Portra 400 with a Yashica MAT124G, and some on digital Leica.
